THE PUBLIC SAFETY SUITE

VisionAIR's Public Safety Suite consists of applications that provide core functionality for mission critical public safety responsibilities. These applications were designed to run stand-alone or integrate together and share common data, as well as a common user interface.

Current Technology

The following list summarizes the major technologies to which VisionAIR is committed:

Microsoft .NET provides an extensive and cohesive enterprise framework upon which the applications can run.

Web Services is an application decentralization technology that takes common “services” and places them on an IP network for consumption by users and applications. The typical present day configuration is structured around an application consuming web services on a network.

Microsoft BizTalk is a Windows-based integration technology that facilitates inter-application communication and business processing by utilizing XML technology to translate data between disparate machines and also defines the business processes that must occur by means of a business processing modeling capability. Effectively it adds state awareness to otherwise stateless transactions.

FLASH MX and FLASH Remoting provide high-end graphics and animation capabilities for enhanced user experiences. Flash Remoting provides the interface with external web services and the .NET framework.
