CJIS is the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services security requirements for public safety agencies. As a software vendor to the Public Safety industry, VisionAIR is required to adhere to all the various vendor requirements set forth by the federal government, state governments and local agencies.

All VisionAIR employees are required to take CJIS online training and pass a certification exam. Selected employees who have access to client data, systems, or any form of Criminal History Record Data are required to go through an additional security screening process that involves submitting fingerprint cards and CJIS Security Waiver Forms to all the states that we do business in.

As a business partner serving law enforcement, we take our CJIS Security Policy and Procedures very seriously. Applicants who reach the “Finalist” stage of our employment process will receive more detailed information regarding CJIS requirements.
